Will I definitely receive medication?

No. Treatment decisions are made by the licensed clinician based on your individual assessment. The evaluation fee covers clinician time and is not a guarantee of a prescription or outcome.

Do you take insurance?

Cope Now is a cash‑pay service and does not bill insurance. Some patients may submit documentation to their insurer for possible reimbursement, but coverage is not guaranteed and varies by plan.

Can I use my own pharmacy?

At this time, the prescribed compounded formulation is dispensed exclusively through Kazmira Pharmacy, a Colorado‑licensed 503A compounding pharmacy.

What if I miss my appointment?

Missed visits may be charged the full visit fee per Cope Now’s cancellation and no‑show policy. To reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours before your appointment.

How long does the whole process take?

Most patients complete eligibility and scheduling in a few minutes. Visits typically last around 10 minutes. If prescribed, pharmacy preparation and shipping generally occurs within about 48 hours of pharmacy receipt.

Where is Cope Now available?

Telehealth visits are currently available to patients physically located in CO, UT, FL, WY, SD & AZ at the time of their appointment. Expansion into additional states is subject to applicable licensure and regulatory approvals.

Common side effects

Prescription cannabinoid therapies may cause drowsiness, fatigue, changes in appetite, diarrhea, and dry mouth. Effects vary by patient, dose, and formulation.

Drug‑interaction risk

CBD can affect how the body metabolizes other medications through cytochrome P450 liver enzymes, which may alter the effectiveness or safety of prescriptions including blood thinners, anti‑seizure medications, and some antidepressants. Disclose all current medications and supplements to your clinician during evaluation.

Liver‑enzyme monitoring

Elevated liver enzymes have been observed in clinical research on CBD, particularly at higher doses. Your clinician may recommend liver‑function testing before or during your protocol. Patients with existing liver conditions require additional review.

Not FDA‑approved

Compounded cannabinoid formulations are prepared under FDA 503A regulations for individual patients. They are not FDA‑approved drugs and have not been evaluated by the FDA for safety, efficacy, or quality in the same way as commercial pharmaceuticals. Compounded medications are prescribed when a clinician determines a commercially available product is not appropriate for a specific patient.
